Description

“It is a place where you are happy” shows a little house carrying the words HOME SWEET HOME inside a wreath of pink and yellow flowers.

What the picture shows

In the middle sits the outline of a house with a gabled roof, stitched in dark grey on a light field, a small chimney poking up above the ridge. Inside the house the words run in three lines: HOME in dark grey, sweet in pink script and HOME again in dark grey. Flowers crowd around the house — orange and gold cups with dark centres, pink and raspberry clusters, two white daisies with yellow eyes, and between them green leaves in several shades on thin stems. Ten colours, 6.5 m of thread. The white Aida in the gaps is left unstitched. It is finished in a square acrylic frame with magnetic tape.
