A monkey holding a big pink flower is what “In a good mood” is about.

What the picture shows

She stands in the middle of a meadow holding a tall stalk topped by a round pink flower built from several rows of beads — from a crimson centre out to a pale pink rim. Her figure is run in brown beads along the outline, and the long curled tail stays printed. The meadow beneath her is filled with green beads, and stems rise from it carrying blue forget-me-nots and red and pink blooms. The sky is pale blue and left bare, with two orange butterflies fluttering across it, their bodies picked out in beads. The composition builds from the bottom up: a dense band of grass, then flowers and the monkey, then empty sky — which is why the piece looks light despite its 425 beads.
