“Housewarming” is a small bead embroidery magnet kit worked on art canvas.

What the picture shows

The full-colour design is already printed on the canvas, so there is no chart to follow on a screen: each bead goes straight onto its place in the picture and the colour stays visible under the needle. Beads on this canvas are not laid solidly — they carry the main objects and the outlines while the ground stays printed, so the work moves quickly and needs no counting. The difficulty is marked as simple: there are no fine shade transitions and no large filled areas. The format is small, 80×70 mm, with about 469 beads in seven colours — a few quiet evenings of work. The finished embroidery becomes a magnet for the fridge or another metal surface.
