“Happy New Year – 7” shows two golden bears hugging beside a Christmas tree, one of them in a red cap.

What the picture shows

The cap is stitched in red beads with a fluffy white trim and a white pompom. The tree on the right is built from green beads and hung with orange, blue and red bauble-flowers; below it sit a red and a blue parcel tied with a string of white beads. A garland of white and pale blue beads runs along the bottom as a snowdrift. The background is light blue with snow and printed snowflakes. The bears' plush bodies stay printed on the canvas, while the beads work on the cap, the tree, the gifts and the snow. The tree is built from small green beads laid in clusters, so it looks soft even at this size. The parcels beneath it are the quickest part of the work.
