Bead Embroidery Magnet Kit "Happy New Year – 2"

“Happy New Year – 2” shows a gingerbread house under snow with a bullfinch perched beside it on a fir branch.

What the picture shows

The house stands in the centre: brown walls built from rows of dark beads, a roof worked in white, green, red and yellow like icing scattered with sweets, and a round window set in a beaded rim. On the right a bullfinch with a red breast sits on a bar of brown and red beads. Bottom left, a red flower with a golden bauble rests on fir twigs. The background is a snowy blue with large snowflakes in transparent and pale blue beads. The needles, the snow and the bird's plumage stay printed on the canvas; beads carry the roof, the walls, the window and the flakes. The roof is the most interesting part: rows of coloured beads run diagonally and give exactly that icing effect. The walls are filled in even rows from the top down, and the snowflakes are left until last.
