“Gemini” shows two children sitting inside a large golden sphere.

What the picture shows

The sphere is outlined by a continuous circle of golden beads, with two children sitting back to back inside; their figures stay printed and the beads run only the outlines and the hair. The sphere rests on green grass worked in green beads. Small yellow, red and white flowers are scattered across the pink field. The word for Gemini is set across the top in white beads. The pink ground stays printed: on art canvas the beads are not solid. The circle is the longest passage: it is run as one even line, and the whole piece depends on how neatly it is laid. The small flowers across the field are scattered unevenly, so they can be placed to taste, checking against the print.
