Description

“Friends” shows two ginger teddy bears hugging and holding a shared bouquet of small flowers.

What the picture shows

The bears themselves stay printed on the canvas: soft ginger fur, lowered paws, heads leaning together. The beads work the bouquet — pink, red, white and lilac blooms with golden centres — and the flowering branch that hangs above them. The pale green-and-pink background is printed too. A printed line of lettering runs along the bottom and does not need to be embroidered. At 307 beads this is the lightest kit in the batch. All the embroidery is concentrated in the upper half of the canvas, where the flowers and the branch are, while the lower part stays almost pure print. That keeps the piece light, and the bouquet holds enough colour to stop it looking pale. The finest details here are the golden centres of the flowers.
