Description

“Enamoured woollies – 1” shows a white sheep with a red bow and a black ram touching noses on a green meadow.

What the picture shows

The sheep on the left is worked in white and grey beads, its curly fleece set bead by bead, with a red bow on its head. The ram on the right is black, with a curled brown horn and dark curly wool. Two small red hearts hang above them, white clouds of matt beads drift across the sky and a yellow sun shines. Green grass runs along the bottom in short strokes, with red flowers and yellow centres among it. The sky stays as watercolour printing: on art canvas the beads do not cover the surface — they carry the figures, the clouds, the sun and the flowers. The piece is small, so nearly every detail is a few beads, and the change shows after the first rows.
