Description

“Easter still-life – 6” shows two bunnies painting a large pink Easter egg together.

What the picture shows

The egg stands in the middle: its top covered in rows of yellow, white, red and blue beads, and below a pink field with a printed greeting framed by bands of red and green beads. A bunny with a brush and palette sits on the left, another on a stool on the right; both stay printed. Three paint jars rimmed with beads stand at the bottom. Blue and red beaded flowers on green leaves fill the corners. The background is a blue sky over green grass. There are fewer beads here than in the other Easter designs, so the piece can be finished in an evening. The top of the egg is filled in rows, below it only the bands are stitched, and the bunnies and jars stay printed.
