“Easter still-life – 5” shows a bunny painting a violet Easter egg with a brush.

What the picture shows

The bunny sits right of centre: its outline in pink beads, its ears pink and white, its chest and paws worked in white beads. It holds a brush with a yellow handle, and in front of it stands a large violet egg belted with a garland of white and yellow beads. Paint jars and a second brush stand on the grass to the left and stay printed. Daisies in white and yellow beads and small blue flowers are scattered along the edges. The background is a green spring meadow. The egg is the largest solid area: first the violet field, then the garland of white and yellow beads. The bunny is only outlined and the paint jars stay printed, so the work goes quickly.
