Description

“Easter basket – 2” shows a basket of dyed eggs standing on spring grass, its handle tied with a red bow.

What the picture shows

The basket sits in the centre: sides and tall handle built from brown and golden beads, with a full bow of red beads on the handle. It is packed with eggs outlined in yellow, pink, blue and green beads, and two more lie on the grass on either side. Yellow and red flowers with green beaded stems grow around it. The letters “ХВ” are worked in blue in the upper corners. The sky and the green meadow with its printed daisies stay printed — the beads work on the basket, the eggs and the flowers. The bow on the handle is the most noticeable detail: it is stitched densely in red and is the first thing you see. The flowers in the grass are tiny, a few beads each, so they are left until the end.
