Description

“Diet – 2” shows a plush bear holding a daisy and looking straight at the viewer.

What the picture shows

The bear fills the centre: the outline of its head, ears and paws is worked in cream and golden beads, while the seams on its muzzle stay printed. In its paw is a flower of white beads with a pink centre on an amber stem. A button outlined in beads shows below. A double border of crimson and white beads runs around the edge, separating the light field from the pink ground. A humorous printed caption sits at the top and does not need stitching. The beaded border takes almost as many beads as the bear itself and is stitched first to set the limits of the design. The flower in the paw is made of separate petals a few beads each, and the background stays printed.
