“Dessert” shows a cupcake with pink cream and a chocolate ball on top, with cherries and white daisies beside it.

What the picture shows

The cream is swirled in pink and white beads, crowned by a dark chocolate ball of brown beads. The paper case is beaded in silvery white in vertical strips, so it looks fluted. Two dark cherries on green stems lie below, and white daisies open along the bottom edge. The green background with its white highlights stays printed: on art canvas the beading never covers the whole surface. The most noticeable texture is the swirl of cream: the beads follow the arcs, and how even those arcs are decides whether the cream looks whipped. The silvery strips of the paper case add a cool note and balance the pink top.
