Description

A pink piglet with a red rose beside a large cupcake is what “Cupcake and a rose” shows.

What the picture shows

The piglet's head and body are outlined in pale lime beads, with black beads marking the eyelashes, the trotters and a leaf on the stem. The snout and ear are drawn in pink beads, while the skin itself stays pink print. The rose is worked in a spiral: dark red beads on the outside, pink towards the centre, with a green stem. The cupcake stands to the right: its paper case is run in vertical rows of amber, brown and black beads, and the cream on top is laid in white pearls in a wave. Red flowers with white centres are set into the cream. The white canvas around stays clean — the beads do not cover the ground but hold the outlines and the two main objects.
