Description

“Chocolate bar” shows a plush bear with a blue mug and a bitten bar of chocolate.

What the picture shows

The bear fills the right half: the outline of its head and body is worked in cream and amber beads, the ears are rings of beads, and the nose and the patch on its muzzle stay printed. It holds a mug covered in blue, white and pink beads, and beside it a chocolate bar whose wrapper alone is beaded. The pink background is dotted with white specks — some stitched in white beads, the rest printed. A humorous printed caption runs down the left side. The bear's outline runs as one continuous line of beads and the whole piece depends on keeping it even. The mug is filled densely and the chocolate only partly, so the beadwork is deliberately uneven and the scene looks lively.
