Description

“Cat in love” shows a ginger cat sitting by a lamp on a blue evening, with pink hearts drifting above it.

What the picture shows

The cat is outlined in orange-red beads: the ears, the back, the long tail and the stripes along it. Its chest and front paws are set in white pearl beads, and the nose stays pink in the print. On the left a brick pillar rises, laid in rows of beige and pearl beads, and a lamp of golden-brown beads curves out from its top. To the right of the cat a railing runs in short white strokes. Three pink hearts float in the air among a scatter of golden dots like sparks. The deep blue ground stays printed: on art canvas the beads do not cover the surface, they only hold the cat, the lamp, the pillar and the hearts.
