Description

“Cat constellation” shows a pink kitten asleep, curled up on a big yellow star.

What the picture shows

The kitten's back is filled with purple beads in a dense rounded patch — the only place in the piece where the beading is solid. Its head is drawn with a pink outline, the ear and the paw are pink too, while the closed eyes and the smiling mouth stay as fine print. The star beneath it is beaded in yellow along the edge. Another five or six gold stars of glittering beads hang around it, and two white ones sit in the lower corners. A purple bead garland is slung across the top, and the left and upper edges are framed with a pink and white border. The cream ground with its drawn stars is left open and gives the piece a soft night light.
