Description

“Buzz” shows a deep blue beetle with a coral pattern on its back sitting among green leaves.

What the picture shows

The beetle sits exactly in the middle of the square, symmetrically. Head, legs and the rim of the wing cases are worked in ink blue and violet, while a pale shield with a coral pattern lies inside the back: pink diamonds and white and red dots. Long antennae rise in two thin lines. The legs are jointed and visible, the lower pair resting on a reddish stem. Eight green leaves are arranged around it in different shades, from olive to fresh grass, each with a central vein. Ten colours, 5.5 m of thread. The white Aida between the leaves stays unstitched. It is finished in a square acrylic frame with magnetic tape.
