Description

“Bears under umbrella” shows two panda cubs sheltering from the rain under a red umbrella.

What the picture shows

The umbrella takes the upper part: red beads across the canopy, silver drops on it and a thin handle of grey beads. The pandas sit side by side, leaning together: their outlines, ears and paws worked in black beads, their bodies in white and pearl. Small red flowers of a few beads each and grey strokes of rain are scattered across the white field. The ground stays printed: on art canvas the beads are not solid. Black-and-white figures and a red umbrella — the whole piece is built on three colours and the rest merely supports them. The drops on the canopy are scattered silver beads — a small thing that turns an ordinary umbrella into one wet with rain.
