Description

“Bear and Camomiles” shows a panda with a pink bow holding a bunch of daisies.

What the picture shows

The daisies are worked as circles of white beads with yellow centres, the stems in green. The panda is outlined in black, its ears and paws black, with a pink bow of pink beads on its head. The ground is pink with large white polka dots: each dot is set in white beads, and they are what fills the field. A printed band of flowers is left across the top: on art canvas the beads do not cover the surface. There are only four colours — white, black, green and pink — so the kit is simple, though the spotted field takes the most time. The daisies are beaded in circles, from the centre out to the petal tips, so they come out evenly round even without experience. The bow goes in last.
