What the picture shows

A white mouse stands in the centre in a full dress: a green bodice, a pink-and-blue skirt with a row of small flowers at the waist, a white cap with a pink flower on her head and large turquoise ears. In her right paw she holds a hanger with a green dress; a turquoise bow sits at the lower right. Turquoise and white hearts are scattered in the corners. The pale blue background is printed on the canvas; the figure, the dress, the bow and the hearts are beaded. The skirt is picked up in horizontal rows of two shades, and the flowers at the waist as separate rosettes laid over them. The ears and the bow use a single turquoise colour.

Five bead colours across 490 beads — few shades, but dense work. The finished magnet is mounted in the square acrylic frame from the kit and fixed with the magnetic tape. A lot of small things fit into a small area: the dress on the hanger, the bow, the hearts in the corners. That makes the piece easy to stitch in parts over several evenings.
