Description

“Summer sketch” is a crescent-shaped bib necklace with a lavender field and a sun above the forest.

What the picture shows

The upper part is the sky, worked in blue and white beads in wavy rows like brush strokes. A large orange-yellow sun sets on the right, a dark band of spruces stands below it, and the slope turns into patches of green. The whole lower half is taken up by lavender: violet, lilac and pink spikes stand close together with green showing between them. The canvas is covered completely, so the necklace reads as a small painting. Twenty-two colours are exactly what the sky and the field need to keep their own gradations. The horizon line rises a little to the right, which makes the crescent of the necklace look wider.
