Bead Embroidery Bookmark Kit "Threads of friendship"

“Threads of friendship” is a summery bookmark with hummingbirds over flowers and two quotations about friendship.

What the picture shows

At the top of the front a hummingbird hovers beside a branch of white apple blossom; the petals and the green leaves are worked in beads and stand out against the soft grey-green background. Below, a pale handwritten line calls friendship the most valuable gift, and under it are peach lilies with long stamens and a second bird. The reverse is built the same way: a pink-and-peach lily at the top, two quotations across the middle, a green hummingbird among leaves at the foot. A violet beaded border runs around the edge and a lilac tassel hangs from the bottom corner. The palette is gentle: peach, white, green and lilac. The beads cover the flowers, the birds and the border, and the rest of the scene stays printed on the canvas.
