Christmas Stockings and Christmas ornaments

Christmas decorations and stockings for bead embroidery is a section of 55 winter-themed kits. 51 of them are rated easy, so a decoration for the holidays is within reach even on a first attempt with beads. Formats are 132×66 mm (41 designs), 66×66 mm (10) and 200×300 mm (4).

What the pieces are

• Tree ornaments and hanging pieces — double-sided or with a finished back, with a loop for the branch.
• Christmas stockings — the larger format, used both as wrapping for small presents and as a decoration that comes out every year.

Every kit holds artist canvas with the printed design, Czech Preciosa beads, a needle, the findings for assembly and illustrated instructions.

How long it takes

A 132×66 mm ornament takes 3–5 hours; the 66×66 mm format 2–3 hours. A set of four or five decorations for the tree fits into a couple of weekends.

Questions and answers

When should I start to be ready for the holidays?

Allow 15–25 hours for a set of five ornaments. At an hour an evening that is about three weeks.

Are the findings included?

Yes: the ribbon or cord for hanging and the materials to finish the back.

Can children take part?

Yes, the 66×66 mm format with 5–6 colours suits children from about 8 with an adult nearby.

How should the decorations be stored between seasons?

In a box, separated with paper and not compressed. The beads are unaffected by storage; it is the base that distorts if something presses on it.
