Cross stitch collars in the jewellery range are the textile alternative to beaded pieces. The stitched area is 240×210 mm on Aida, using 10–20 colours of floss at a medium level of difficulty.
Why a collar rather than a picture
It is the same cross stitch, but the result is worn. That changes the requirements: the edge is finished, the back is closed, and the density of coverage is chosen so the piece stays soft and sits well on the shoulders.
What is included
Aida fabric, floss with a surplus, a needle, a chart with QR codes to the digital formats, and the findings for finishing the piece.
Questions and answers
How long does a collar take?
30–50 hours depending on fabric count and the density of the design.
Can it be washed?
Yes, by hand in warm water, dried flat and pressed from the back through a cloth.
What do you wear it with?
Over a dress, a shirt or a jumper — it works as the single accent of an outfit.
