Large bead embroideries is the large-format part of the gallery of finished pieces: from 300 mm along the longer side. These are completed pictures stitched in Czech Preciosa beads on artist canvas at the Abris Art workshop.

What the large format gives

Over an area of 300 mm and more, things appear that a miniature cannot show: smooth transitions of shade, depth in the background, and the characteristic shimmer as light strikes the beads from different angles. Pieces like these hang as the accent of a room rather than as part of a group.
