Description

“Christmas Advent calendar” is a tall vertical panel with the words Merry Christmas at the top and twenty-four numbered windows, one for each day of waiting for the holiday.

What the picture shows

The background is dark green with a faint coniferous pattern. At the top sits red handwritten lettering framed by holly sprigs with red berries, and the same sprig runs along the bottom of the panel. The windows are set in three columns of eight rows, each with a pale frame and a red number in the corner, and each holding its own Christmas motif: snowmen in hats and scarves, a gingerbread house, a poinsettia, a mug of cocoa with marshmallows, a red cardinal on a branch, a stocking, a wreath, Santa, a red truck carrying a tree, a gnome, wrapped presents, candy canes, a penguin, a bauble. The beads take the miniatures and the lettering, while the green background stays as print, so the windows read like separate cards pinned to the board.
