Bead Embroidery Pattern on Art Canvas "Jungle"

“Jungle” is a decorative panel of dense tropical foliage with a chameleon and small birds hidden inside it.

What the picture shows

The canvas is filled with large green leaves of many shapes — long and pointed, broad and fan-like — and between them appear exotic blooms: pink proteas, red-and-yellow heliconias, small white clusters. At the lower left a chameleon sits on a branch, its tail curled and its back patterned; turquoise agave rosettes open beside it. Birds with long tails show in the upper corners. The ground is pale, almost white, ruled with light blue strokes, and it is this contrast that gives the leaves their volume. Coverage is partial: leaves, flowers, the chameleon and the birds are beaded, while the white ground with its blue strokes stays as print on the canvas.
