Description

“The key to happiness” places a large ornate key at the centre of a dark canvas, wrapped in blue and orange swirls of smoke. The mood is fairy-tale and a little mysterious.

What the picture shows

The bow of the key is made of forged curls: silvery steel beads along the outline, gold inside, and a yellow stone set at the top. The shaft runs down in an even steel line and ends in a square bit. Smoke billows on both sides — cool blue on one, warm orange-red on the other, each traced with a beaded outline. The dark grey background stays as print on the canvas, and the small gold stars scattered across it add depth.
