Description

“Rainbow heart” is a bouquet of fantasy flowers gathered from every colour of the rainbow at once. It is the most colourful kit in the batch, with 39 bead colours in one composition.

What the picture shows

The flowers are large and stylised, each with long pointed petals radiating from a dark heart. Turquoise, blue-violet and emerald dominate on the left and in the centre, while magenta, orange and gold take over on the right and at the top, with lilac and lime petals turning up in between. Elongated buds rise on thin stems among the blooms. The background is a blue-lilac watercolour wash covered in transparent bubbles of various sizes; some of those circles are outlined in silver-white beads and glitter, while the rest stay as print on the canvas. Glass rondelles pick out individual bubbles, which makes the ground feel alive and moving. The petals are stitched in rows that follow the shape, so every flower has its own direction of shine and the piece changes noticeably as the light moves.
