Main Bead Embroidery Kit Faberge beetle
Description
“Faberge beetle” is a stag beetle made like a piece of jewellery: the shell is covered in ornament, a crown sits above the head, and drop pendants swing below on chains. The background is bright abstract painting where a sunset and a night sky are mixed together.
What the picture shows
The shell is beaded in blue, turquoise and emerald with a gold pattern down the centre and a large teardrop “stone” in the middle. The legs and antlers are thin and green, like small twigs made of tiny beads. The glass drops under the body add real volume and shine. The ground splits in two: warm orange-yellow light with rays on the left, a crimson and violet depth with spatters on the right, and a silver disc like a moon at the top. Red circles outlined in beads repeat that round shape in different corners, while the painted background itself stays as print on the canvas. The composition is symmetrical along the vertical, and the warm and cool halves of the background meet exactly in the middle, on the beetle itself.
