“Cadence-1” in the white-background version: a full moon worked entirely in golden beads on pale canvas. The first part of a triptych about the waning moon.

What the picture shows

A large even circle sits at the centre of the vertical canvas. It is filled bead by bead in gold, copper, sand, cream and warm amber, mixed so the surface shimmers rather than reading as one flat tone. Small bright yellow rosettes and lighter patches are scattered across the disc, suggesting craters and highlights. The background is not beaded at all: the white canvas stays clean right to the edges, and the whole piece rests on that contrast. The simple shape and short colour list make this a good kit for a first attempt at beadwork.
