Description

“Prosperity” shows an elephant head face on, set into a mandala of petals and pattern, in a blue and violet range.

What the picture shows

The elephant looks straight at the viewer: the large ears are spread wide and the trunk hangs down and curls up at the tip. The face and ears are covered with fine ornament — dots, lines and curls in blue, white and lilac beads. A pink lotus sits on the forehead. The trunk is decorated with bands of turquoise, green, yellow and pink. Behind the head a mandala opens out: a ring of pointed petals with lilac and pink centres, edged in blue and turquoise lacework. The background is white and empty, so the whole construction reads as one large rosette. The large beads and glass drops from the kit add raised accents over the dense beadwork.
