Description

“Mandala” is a symmetrical circular pattern on a black ground, assembled from several concentric rings. It is purely decorative — the geometry does all the work.

What the picture shows

The mandala fills almost the whole square canvas. At the centre is a six-petal flower in white and pale blue beads with a red core. Rings follow outward: pearl white, then gold with small shaped arches, then a wide band of dark green petals, each holding a round stone in red, violet or turquoise. The outer edge is made of fine points and single large beads set around the circle. The palette holds to gold, emerald, ruby and turquoise. The black background stays as print on the canvas, so every row of beads stays distinct, while the stones and pearls add extra relief and shine.
