Description

“Terrace” is a summer veranda overlooking a lake — one of the largest designs in the big-kit range. White columns wrapped in greenery, hanging baskets of petunias, blue hydrangeas along the balustrade, wicker furniture and a table of potted plants further in. Beyond the railing you can see the water and trees just turning autumn.

What the picture shows

The design is built on depth: the plank floor carries your eye from the foreground to the lake, and the beadwork underlines that movement. Beads cover the flowers, foliage, wicker chairs and carved details — more than 13,000 of them in 23 colours. Sky, water and the wooden floor stay as painted background, so the piece never feels overloaded.
