Main Bead Embroidery Kit Anemone

“Anemone” is a bunch of red anemones in a glass jar against a background assembled from several different patterns at once. This is the brightest and most detailed kit in the series: twenty-eight bead colours.

What the picture shows

The canvas is horizontal and divided into vertical bands like a collage. On the left there is a lilac-violet mosaic panel of small squares, in the centre a blue fabric strewn with flowers, and on the right warm orange and ochre fields with a large round rosette at the top. A clear jar of water stands against all this, green stems visible through the glass, and out of it rise large anemones — crimson, red and coral, with dark centres and fine stamens. Another red-orange bloom lies lower down, and a long green leaf curves on its stem to the right. A golden lace ribbon with scrollwork runs along the bottom edge. The beads cover almost the whole surface densely, leaving only a few areas of background as print.
