Main Bead Embroidery Kit Autumn scenes-3

“Autumn scenes-3” is a vertical autumn study where crimson crowns fill the whole upper part of the picture while lush green still holds on below. The mood is quiet and warm, like a windless day at the end of October.

What the picture shows

At the top right stands a tree with a dense crown in carmine, brick and orange, and behind it, in a soft haze, another one with a rust-coloured crown and dark branches showing through the leaves. The background above is pale, creamy with pink, so the crowns read as silhouettes. The lower third has a completely different mood: green grass, long stems and shoots, and among them a scatter of tiny white and blue flowers with a few rust-coloured leaves. Along the very bottom runs a brown path with fallen leaves. The beads take on the foliage, the grass and the flowers, while the sky, the mist and the distant branches stay as print on the canvas — which is what makes the stitched areas step forward.
