Main Bead Embroidery Kit Love story – 3

“Love story – 3” shows a girl in a red coat walking under a pale umbrella, one leg kicked lightly back as if she were stepping over a puddle. We see her from behind, a bag in her hand and tall black boots on her feet. This third rainy subject is the liveliest and most carefree of the three.

What the picture shows

The main accent is the deep red coat, stitched in several shades from a dark cherry in the folds to almost orange where the light strikes. The umbrella is pale, white and lilac, dotted with small sparks of rain. Around them lie the muted grey-beige and ochre tones of the wet path, in which the figure is reflected. Beads cover the coat, the umbrella, the boots, the bag and the glints on the water, while the blurred trees and the far background stay as print on the artist canvas. The shoulder bag and the flying hem of the coat underline the movement of the figure. The path receding into the distance leaves plenty of open space around her.
