“Summer aroma-2” is a summer bunch of meadow flowers in a blue glass vase, set down on a wooden bench as if it had just been carried in from the field. Daisies, blue bells, small cornflowers and tall lilac spikes spread in every direction, and that easy untidiness is what gives the piece its warmth and calm.

What the picture shows

The composition is wide and deliberately asymmetric: stems reach far beyond the pale rectangle that serves as the backdrop. The palette rests on white, sky blue and lilac with lush green and small orange accents. The flowers, the stems and the round vase are worked in beads, so the blossoms stand clearly above the surface and catch the light. The wooden tabletop and the ochre background stay as print on the artist canvas, while a few cut blooms by the vase echo the rhythm of the bouquet below.
