Main Bead Embroidery Kit Summer aroma-1

“Summer aroma-1” is a lavish bouquet of pansies in a pale vase on a wooden table. Part of the flowers spill past the inner frame onto the white field, which makes the bouquet look three-dimensional.

What the picture shows

The pansies form a wide, sprawling mass: purple blooms with black blotches, blue, yellow, orange-red, white and soft lilac ones, with small forget-me-nots and slender green stems and leaves between them. The pale pink vase, softly glossy, stands on a counter beaded in horizontal bands of ochre and brown. The bouquet takes up almost the entire width of the canvas. Behind it is a warm blurred background in grey-beige and olive tones, outlined by a thin inner frame. The device the whole piece rests on is this: several flowers and stems are stitched beyond that frame, straight onto the white field of the canvas, so the bouquet appears to step forward. Beads cover all the flowers, the leaves, the vase and the counter, while the background stays as print.
