Main bead embroidery kits Hydrangea meets
Description
“Hydrangea meets” shows a pink and lilac hydrangea in a blue garden watering can standing on terracotta tiles beside an old wooden door. The mood is a provincial courtyard on a warm day.
What the picture shows
The bouquet is built from two shades — a rich raspberry pink and a soft lilac — with small dark green leaves between the heads. The watering can is beaded in blue and pale blue, with a long spout and a round rose, and the metal looks a little sun-bleached. Behind it stand a door of turquoise boards and a pale wall with peeling paint, with a low stone ledge visible on the left. The picture rests on the contrast between the warm clay tiles and the cold blue metal. The floor is laid with terracotta tiles and white grout; a green leaf and a few fallen petals rest on it. The border is beaded in triangles of blue, pink, white and ochre. Beads cover the flowers, the can, the tiles and the border, while the wall and the door stay largely as print on the canvas.
