Main Bead Embroidery Kit Christmas carol

“Christmas carol” shows seven comical bunnies in knitted hats and scarves, lined up like a group of carol singers about to perform.

What the picture shows

The elongated horizontal frame is filled end to end with a company of ginger and cream rabbits with long ears. Each is dressed differently: striped and patterned caps, green, orange and pink knitwear, scarves and little stockings on their paws. A few hold small festive odds and ends, and a tiny sled stands at the lower right. A patterned red runner lies underfoot, and the background is warm yellow-orange with soft rays spreading from the centre. Beadwork covers the figures, the hats, the clothing and the pattern on the runner, while the pale background stays as print on the canvas, so all the attention goes to the characters. The rabbits have round whiskered faces with big dark eyes, and each one wears a different expression. Their ears stick out from under the hats and cross here and there, which makes the whole row look lively and a little disorderly.
