Main Bead Embroidery Kit Two together

“Two together” is a fantasy double portrait: a man’s face and a woman’s face turned towards each other, with warm light flaring between them.

What the picture shows

The left half of the picture is cold — a blue profile with patterns across the skin, dark feathers, blue mandalas and openwork nets radiating outward. The right half is warm — golden pink light, long hair that turns into feathers, leopard-like markings and scatterings of pale beads. Both figures wear elaborate headdresses of feathers and ribbons. In the centre, where the faces almost touch, the palette lightens to amber and near white. Beadwork covers the profiles, the feathers, the patterns and the ornaments, while the soft gradients of the background stay as print, so the contrast between cold and warm keeps its full strength. Small pale crystals and pearls are scattered around both heads, set bead by bead. A blue mandala of concentric circles shows at the lower left, while dark markings on the right dissolve gradually into feathers.
