Main Bead Embroidery Kit Paradise

“Paradise” is a tropical view with a wide cascading waterfall stepping down into a clear lake. The piece is vertical and full of greenery, and it carries the feeling of warm, humid air.

What the picture shows

A branch heavy with orange-red blossom covers the top of the picture, and the same flowering growth rises from the lower left corner — these two accents hold the composition together. Between them several white streams drop over the rocks, and the water below is scattered with sparkling highlights. The far bank is taken up by autumn trees in red, russet and ochre, with mountains dissolving into lilac haze behind them. Ferns and broad, juicy leaves fill the foreground. Beadwork goes onto the flowers, the falling water, the highlights on the lake and the foreground greenery, while the misty mountains and the sky stay as print, so the far distance never overpowers the main subject. Another thin stream slips down between the rocks on the right, and branches dotted with small blossom lean out over the water on the left.
