Description

“Gemini” shows two little ones with golden curls floating in a blue sky. It is the gentlest and most childlike piece in the series.

What the picture shows

Inside the circle the twins stand back to back: round cheeks, smiling faces, and hair built from dense golden bead spirals. They wear short tunics and trousers in turquoise-green and blue with a fine scale pattern, arms spread wide. A round medallion with the Gemini glyph sits between them at the bottom, and small yellow and white bead rosettes are scattered around like little stars. The background is painted on the canvas: a soft blue sky with blurred white clouds. The figures, the circle and the rosettes are beaded while the sky stays as gentle print, which is why the curls and clothing glow against it.
