Description

“Aries” is a decorative ram portrait built from golden spirals and curls inside a steady circle. The mood is warm and sunny, with a sense of confident forward movement.

What the picture shows

A stylised ram's head fills the centre of the square canvas: heavy horns roll into two large spirals, the ears spread sideways as long drops, and the eyes are bright green. The whole figure is laid out in rows of honey, cream, copper and deep cherry beads, while the bridge of the nose and the nostrils are picked out in white pearl. A double circle holds the head, with an oval medallion carrying the Aries glyph hanging below it. The background stays as print on the canvas: a warm peach and terracotta surface with pale marble-like veining. Beads cover only the ornament and the circle, so the pattern stands clearly above the matte ground.
