Main Bead Embroidery Kit Autumn Twilight

“Autumn Twilight” shows an evening city street just after rain, when the lamps are already lit and the cobbles have turned into a mirror. It is the widest and most detailed piece of its kind here: houses, a carriage and a dozen small figures of passers-by all fit into it.

What the picture shows

The street runs deep into the frame between handsome town houses with bay windows, mouldings and a burgundy dome on the right; a blue awning with a shop sign hangs on the left. A tree with dense golden foliage rises in the middle, couples stroll beneath it, the dark silhouette of a carriage stands further on, and a spire is just visible on the horizon. The palette is built on warm ochre and terracotta meeting a cool blue-grey sky and turquoise details on the façades. The brightest passage is the wet pavement with its long yellow and orange lamp reflections. Beads cover the buildings, the canopy and the reflections, while the sky and the misty perspective stay as print on the canvas.
