Main Bead Embroidery Kit Toys – 3

“Toys – 3” is a company of plush friends on a red checked blanket: a big bear, two smaller bears and a puppy.

What the picture shows

On the left sits a large shaggy bear with a red polka-dot bow, his paws stretched forward. Beside him is a small yellow bear in a many-coloured romper; on the right sits a ginger curly bear with his muzzle lowered, and above him a plush puppy with floppy ears peeks over a blue cushion. The cushion is blue with a red-and-white pattern. The blanket below is red check, the background is pale with soft grey-blue and ochre strokes, and a wide striped white-and-blue band runs along the edge. Beads cover the toys, the cushion, the blanket and the border, while the wall stays as print on the canvas, so the fur and the fabrics keep a clear relief. All four faces have different expressions, and the smallest details — noses, eyes and the seams on the paws — are picked out in dark beads. The check of the blanket reads clearly right down to the bottom edge.
