Main Bead Embroidery Kit Rahat

“Rahat” is an eastern still life with fruit and a golden jug, set against ancient columns. The scene is painted in soft sepia, and the only patches of strong colour come from the table itself.

What the picture shows

A tall footed bowl with a heavy bunch of green grapes stands at the centre, with a second bowl of pink-lilac berries beside it. On the left, apples, pears and pomegranates spill from an overturned basket; in front of them lies a split pomegranate with bright red seeds scattered over the tabletop. On the right rises a slender jug with chased ornament, next to a glass on a thin stem. Behind the still life, columns with carved capitals and stone steps appear in faded ochre. Beadwork covers the grapes, the jug, the glass, the pomegranates and part of the fruit, while the columns, the table and the background stay as print on the canvas — which is why the kit uses comparatively few beads and the stitching works as an accent on what matters most.
