Main Bead Embroidery Kit Elegante

“Elegante” is a narrow vertical piece about jazz: a golden saxophone running the full height of the canvas, a dark silhouette of a player above it, and a spray of deep red roses climbing on the right. The orange ground keeps the scene warm and a little smoky.

What the picture shows

The saxophone is seen from the side, its bell curving at the bottom and the mouthpiece at the top; the body is built from golden, bronze and olive tones with the keys marked by darker dots. Above it is the black silhouette of a man playing, like a shadow thrown on a wall. Stems wind up the right side with four open red roses and dark green leaves, one flower tied with a pale ribbon. The background is an even orange, brushed so that it recalls old plaster. Beads cover the saxophone, the silhouette, the roses, the leaves and the ribbon, while the orange ground stays as print on the canvas, so the instrument and the flowers glow against a matte warm field.
